Privacy Policy
Effective: May 17, 2026
This policy is short because there isn't much to say.
Your data stays on your device
Everything you create in Pikos (notes, tasks, calendar events, folders, and settings) is stored in a standard, open database format on your machine. There is no sign-up and no way for us to see what you write. You can copy, back up, or move your data at any time; there is no lock-in.
We cannot access, read, or recover your data. If you delete the app, the data goes with it unless you've backed it up yourself.
Network connections
The app's only built-in network request is an update check when you launch it. Nothing about you or your data is sent, and you can turn it off in Settings → General.
Any future feature that needs the network will be opt-in, a toggle in Settings. If you turn one on, the relevant third-party provider's privacy policy governs whatever data flows through them.
Website analytics
This website uses privacy-focused analytics to count page views and downloads. No cookies, no fingerprinting, no cross-site tracking. We see aggregate numbers: how many people visit each page and download the app. We cannot identify individual visitors.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top. For material changes, like collecting new data, we'll note it clearly here and in the app.
